Here is a happy Steve!
Anyway, back to our story. After exhausting the exquisite Chad Kassem pressing of the Oscar Peterson LP (which was pressed at 45 speed, and the ten tracks comfortably spread out over four sides for extra-wide groovification), I adjusted the turntable drive belt to the 33 speed setting. I listened to the 1963 Verve recording of Count Basie Orchestra's Li'l Ol' Groovemaker—the entire album is just incredible and one of my favorite discs in the whole world.
