We ran into Mark Schifter.
Frank Iacone, Headphone Guru. What you lookin' at!
Classic Album Sundays. We tried to get there for Brian Eno's Another Green World, but sadly arrived after the presentation. We did get to hear part of the album though.
It was packed! Standing room only!
Sadly, the shipment for SeaWave Acoustics was lost in transit. This company from Korea makes loudspeakers, and they said this was their first U.S. show.
In the SeaWave room, one could enjoy the sounds of Silence.
Joe N Tell, DIY loudspeakers, sounded great!
Another friend we haven't seen in a while, Peter Wohelski.
Something new this year, motorcycle and car audio. The music played in this hall was outstanding!
Electric scooters, available for free at the registration desk!
Front view, Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center.
Registration was at the end of this long hall, good for getting your steps in!
Outside patio, where smoking was allowed, at night. Gorgeous evening!
Some of the rooms were as big as our house, with interesting decor.
Another shot of the front of the hotel. We're told soon the whole area will be built up! Is that Kansas out there?
Sound United with Polk Audio and Marantz. The Legend Series Loudspeakers.
Polk Audio was in a suite, and they had these smaller speakers in the bedroom portion of the suite. They ran through a demo, which included a lot of music I didn't particularly like, as is usual at shows. But! Even with music I wasn't familiar with, this $1200 pair of speakers was amazing! Affordable, and sounded very good.
The indoor swimming pool, complete with activities for the little ones. There is also an extensive outdoor pool, and a "lazy river," all of which seemed like a lot of fun.
And finally, a model of the entire complex. Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2019, in this fabulous new hotel, was a blast!
